I hear The Cure are playing a headline show at Bestival in 2011. Initially I was very tempted to go and see them, and thought it well worth the £180 ticket price. But, the more I thought about it, I realised they would, more than likely, play mainly the new stuff (and by new I mean everything Robert Smith wrote after 1989). I want to hear stuff off Disintigration, Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me and the older albums.
Perhaps I'll save my cash and just watch my Mum's VHS recording of The Cure In Orange' again instead, and hope they do a live run-through of Seventeen Seconds sometime soon.
