Home
As I'm due to leave this country of mine for who knows how long, I thought it would be right to get oput there and have a bit of a look around. I've never really been further north than Breacon (not including trips to Rhyl, Aberystwyth and Llangrannog when I was under 10). So we set out on a sunny Wednesday morning aiming to drive to 4x4 through the heart of Wales and up to Machynlleth on the Mid/North Wales coast. It's always reasurring just how little distance you need to drive before the houses fall away, the roads narrow and the hills and green open up. We headed over the Breacon Mountains, enjoying the freedom of the winding road and the sunshine.
